This new approach allowed for the development of a more robust design methodology within the company's portfolio, which in turn... empowered teams to work collaboratively and efficiently Through this approach, Steve and Luke were able to implement more mature cross-functional working processes and practices while also improving the design system implementation and adoption. This enabled the creation of an insight feedback loop that helped to prioritize areas of opportunity for the service and product roadmap, leading to a reduction in risk and a shift in focus towards measuring outcomes that connect back to high-value customer needs. Overall, this new approach to design and collaboration allowed bp to leverage the strengths of its employees and achieve significant improvements in its product and service delivery, ultimately resulting in a better customer experience.
