Design Sprint X is now DSX.
Same people, new name.

Design Sprint X, the design sprint company founded by Steve Wood and Luke Taylor in 2019, is now called DSX. Same team, same website, same email. What changed is how we work: our design sprints are now HyperSprints, rebuilt around AI.

Why we changed our name.

We started Design Sprint X because we were tired of watching good ideas die in committee. Design sprints were our answer: the right people in one room, and a real answer by the end of the week.

Then AI arrived. Ideas, research and prototypes became fast and cheap. The hard part stopped being having ideas and became choosing between them, and changing how the work gets done so faster people make a faster business.

So we rebuilt the method around AI and called it the HyperSprint. A name with “design sprint” in it no longer described what we do, so Design Sprint X became DSX.

Frequently asked

Is DSX the same company as Design Sprint X?

Yes. Design Sprint X is now called DSX. It is the same company, founded in 2019 by Steve Wood and Luke Taylor, with the same team, the same website (designsprintx.com) and the same email addresses.

Why did Design Sprint X change its name to DSX?

Because the work changed. AI made ideas and prototypes fast and cheap, and the hard part became choosing between them and changing how teams work. We are no longer a design sprint company that happens to use AI. We help humans and AI work better, faster, together, and the sprint is how we do it.

Does DSX still run design sprints?

Not in their traditional five-day form. HyperSprints have replaced them: the same principles of the right people, a real problem and testing with real customers, rebuilt around AI so they are ten times faster than a traditional design sprint and test several ideas instead of one.

Can I still get the free design sprint slides and the Crazy 8s timer?

Yes. The free five-day design sprint slides, the Crazy 8s timer and our other free tools are all still available on designsprintx.com.

Can I still learn to run a design sprint with you?

Yes. Our self-paced online design sprint courses are still available, and we train teams to run HyperSprints themselves.

How do I get in touch?

The same way as before. Email hello@designsprintx.com or use the contact form on designsprintx.com.
